Home sweet home? September 9th, 2005 We are now less than a week away from settlement on the new house. The home buying process has been long and stressful, but it's almost finished. In fact, just this morning I faxed over the last piece of paperwork our lender needed to finalize our financing stuff. So, that's it... now we just wait for the walkthrough. That's the good news. The bad news is that we asked the seller to make some changes to the house, and it doesn't look like they'll be done before settlement. Will the seller reimburse us for these things they agreed to do, but didn't? Only time will tell. I'm just glad that this whole process is almost finished.
