From the far reaches of the internets... Updated: August 21st, 2006 (RSS) Frank was back in town this last weekend, and we all know how much fun everyone has when Frank is in town. This time however, it was not just Frank that came to visit, but also Brady (one of those "internet friends" you read about in the tabloids) and his wife Liz... neither of whom I had met in person before. Frank actually got into town last Tuesday night, but other than a brief visit he made to my office on Wednesday I didn't really get to spend any time with him until Friday night. Originally, we were all going to see Snakes on a Plane that night, but Brady, Liz and Jon (who is a WoW buddy of Piergalline's, and who I had met once before at a Patton Oswalt comedy show) weren't going to be able to make it. Instead, we (Piergalline, Frank, MeLisa and I) spent our Friday night at a bar in Fell's point. Saturday started with a cookout at my house followed by an Orioles game (which they actually won). After the game, we all went back to my house for some poker. Everyone except MeLisa got in on the action resulting in two of the longest card games ever in recorded history.... When we weren't playing cards, we played Super Monkey Ball and Mario Kart and I even got my ass handed to me by Frank in some old-school Tecmo Bowl. Kudos to Brady though, who started the night not knowing that a king is higher value than a queen and ended up almost winning in heads up action against Piergalline. Brady and Liz caught a flight back to Utah on Sunday and the rest of us finally went to see some motherfucking snakes on a plane (which actually turned out to be really funny.. go figure). While not as exciting as some of Frank's previous visits (I didn't puke, and Frank didn't piss himself... as far as I know), it was a great couple of days spent with some great people.
