Los Angeles vacation - Day 4 May 21th, 2005 (This would have been posted yesterday, but the hotel internet was acting funky... I'll post final thoughts about the trip and E3 tomorrow) Today was our second day of E3. Not quite as exciting, but we still managed to find some interesting stuff: We started the day off in the Kentia hall where we found this cool modern system that plays NES cartridges. If my original NES ever dies, I might have to pick one of these up In Kentia, we also saw the Diamond Comic's booth. Nice to see MeLisa's company representing at E3. A little while later, I got a call from Frank... apparently he and Chris were about to get into a cake eating contest. MeLisa and I ran over to South Hall to bear witness to the event. ...and wouldn't you know it? Frank ended up winning the whole thing. W000t! Afterwards, we walked around the floor checking out games we hadn't played yet. In the pic below, MeLisa is playing Lost in Blue. Black and White Creatures. Not quite as pretty as the PC version, but a cool idea for the DS. Mmmm... booth babes...
